Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions define the rules, responsibilities, and service limitations applicable to all services provided by Gati Packers and Movers. By confirming a booking or availing of our services, customers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the terms outlined below.

Gati Packers and Movers offers packing, relocation, loading, transportation, unloading, storage, and vehicle transportation services. The final scope of work is determined after inspection of the goods, understanding customer requirements, and mutually confirming service details.

All quotations provided are approximate and based on the information shared by the customer at the time of enquiry. Final charges may vary due to changes in the quantity of goods, floor levels, accessibility, delays, or additional manpower requirements. Payment terms generally include an advance payment at the time of booking, with the balance payable upon delivery or as mutually agreed.

Customers must provide accurate and complete information regarding the items to be moved, pickup and delivery locations, and site access. All valuable, fragile, or sensitive items must be declared in advance. Gati Packers and Movers shall not be responsible for loss or damage to items that are not properly disclosed.

We use standard-quality packing materials and established handling methods to ensure safe transportation. Items requiring special handling must be informed beforehand. Goods packed by the customer themselves will be transported entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Gati Packers and Movers cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic conditions, weather issues, strikes, natural calamities, government restrictions, or any circumstances beyond our control. All delivery timelines provided are indicative and not guaranteed.

Transit insurance is optional and must be requested separately. Any claims for loss or damage are subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider. Gati Packers and Movers is not liable for damage to goods that are not insured.

We do not accept or transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable items, or goods prohibited by law. Discovery of such items may result in their removal and possible cancellation of services without liability.

Storage services are offered on a monthly basis or as per prior agreement. While reasonable care is taken to protect stored goods, customers are advised to arrange separate insurance coverage for items kept in storage.

Service cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled move. Cancellations made at short notice may attract charges to compensate for reserved vehicles, labour, and operational arrangements.

Although every effort is made to handle goods safely, Gati Packers and Movers is not responsible for minor scratches, surface marks, normal wear and tear, or damage arising from pre-existing conditions, fragile nature of items, or customer-packed goods.

Any complaints or concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. In the event of disputes, resolution shall be subject to applicable local laws and jurisdiction.
